It was quite anticlimactic and could’ve been much better but I enjoy every despicable me movie.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Christine’s mum’s inability to express her love for Christine is such an important trope in this movie as it can be demonstrated amongst most scenes in which they are together it either starts or ends with them hugging or being close to each other however throughout the scene they usually end up arguing or Christine is distant or upset with how her mother treats her. As a whole Christine lacks emotional maturity throughout most of the film and her mum is emotionally unavailable which results in their very close and warm relationship yet very distant.
