truly i'm the biggest Keira Knightley fan but this was just a lightly feminist, less propulsive Zodiac. she gives the film an air of gravitas and drama that it never lives up to. it kind of felt like a documentary or a court proceeding rather than a bone-chilling mystery that haunts your dreams and forces you to become an amateur detective and spend hours on r/Zodiac.

not a mission impossible-level nailbiter but honestly doesn't need to be. great action and fun to watch in theaters. jack quaid forever <3 I'm so happy to see him in more leading film roles. and justice for jacob batalon — he's more than just the Best Friend!!! my main quibble is that the pacing was off — I literally felt myself relax after the great "reveal." you know something's wrong when you let yourself go to the bathroom that early on.
