Anyone But You 2023
I’m surprised I haven’t seen many people talk about Sydney Sweeney’s performance in this, because it’s like…really good? I thought her physical comedy was especially great.
Anyway, this is the second rom-com I’ve watched in the past month and I feel like I irrationally liked both for some reason. I’m starting to think it’s because I love screwball comedies so much, and there is certainly a through line you can draw between the two genres particularly in their role within mainstream Hollywood.
