  A rewatch 
  The first time I saw it , to be honest I didn’t really enjoy it as much. However this time round I heavily enjoyed it . 

  It’s a short film in retrospect only 1h30 which plays in its favour . It really captivates how far humans push themselves for something as simple as music . Also the film explores the culture of Jazz in America and its importance . 

  The lighting in the film was second to none…

  Definitely one of my favourite foreign films - in my opinion you should watch it in the original German dialogue. 

  It has amazing cinematography and an interesting plot that doesn’t hide the harsh realities of the First World War . 

  For me it’s Top 5 Ww1 films at the moment 
  One of the best films of 2022 for sure . 

  Anyone who finds ww1 interesting should try it .
