  Quite the unique story. It’s not perfect by typical standards but it’s real. If you grew up feeling ostracized, had trouble at home, or just didn’t know how to find your own way this movie will speak to you.

  A story about a group of genuinely terrible people and yet you can't look away. The best part of the movie was the way it presented the journey of addiction from the use, all the mistakes and pain you feel and cause along the way, to the eventual desire and need to stop, and the ultimate question if this will be the last time.

  If this movie could be described by one word it would be unsettling. It is a prequel to the movie X which I haven't seen however assumedly it means that the main character Pearl would always prevail in this story. But it's not so much about winning or losing as Pearl endures both, the film is more so about her coming to terms with the reality that she's a monster.
