This movie valiantly walks the tightrope between heart rending biopic and tear jerking comedy, either way you will be in tears. The meta post-ironic comedy present in campeones displays an unabashed knowledge of itself. A dissection of our current state of ignorance and self projection onto disability, which I would highly recommend.
The soundtrack flows like melted butter, and I’d like it injected directly into my veins.
