  One of those nostalgia sequels that just makes me wonder why even bother? Gladiator was lightning in a bottle, replicating it was an impossible task. Cast and crew did great with what they had.

  These sequels just keep getting better. They leaned in pretty hard to all aspects of action and it rarely felt excessive. Keanu continues to kill it, Rina was great in her role, and every single stunt man and woman (and by god there were a lot of them) did amazing. This movie feels like it must have hired most of the stunt people working in the business! Writing was also exceptional, it can definitely be the thing that sticks out…
