    I love Paul Thomas Anderson’s approach towards filmmaking, it adds a unique presence to the typical storytelling we see on a daily. As does any writer director or director. 
    I believe by the time this was being released he had gotten to a point where he gets the chance to explore a comfortable form of writing, wrapped up in nostalgia with a 70s valley vibe. Which seems to be his style.

    My first impression for when I saw this was that Nicholas Hoult has a job constantly, I’ve been seeing him a lot recently and I love that for him. He brings a fresh new approach to his character which is intriguing to the audience. That coupled up with what might be Jude Law’s best performance, we are presented with a cocoon of incredible performances. Not to forget Tye Sheridan.
