The Sacrifice 1986
I don't believe I understand this movie enough to actually give it a valid rating. In a year's time I will rewatch this movie, hopefully with a newfound understanding. Tarkovsky as a whole is quite mysterious to me. From what I have seen it feels like he presents a movie not just to be watched, but to be thought about. To watch tarkovsky is to think deeply. It almost feels like a prayer through cinema. I have learned more from tarkovsky movies within the last few weeks than I have from all the movies I watched before that.
