  Mixed feelings on this one. The plot was dreadfully frightening and they nailed the unsettling feeling of being in this facade of an environment. The middle part of the film drags on and becomes quite dull before the ending that the opening scene and the title eluded heavily to. There’s a lot of layers to this film in terms of its meaning and what actually happened, but there could have been a lot more in place of the monotonous and slow pacing of the big middle chunk of the film.

  This Lynch masterpiece is top notch. I found myself confused as the dreams turned to reality, not knowing that is exactly what was happening at that moment, but somehow I could feel that was what happening. Few movies have truly made me feel in a way that this film did. Every detail intentional in a world built so masterfully. And when it all comes full circle and you begin to piece together what you’ve just watched like a puzzle, it’s is one of the greatest feelings of all. Stunning in every aspect
