one of the more simple ghibli movies, yet I couldn’t with this one beyond words. Her relatability as a 13 year old girl, her thoughts and feelings, her inexplicable sadness, her attempting to be independent, her talking to her cat, self doubt, taking advice from other women, being kind, feeling lost and dejected, her growing up ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
how could I voluntarily choose to continue living this life knowing that this universe exists? just let me be a witch in a ghibli movie with my cat and identity crisis that’s literally all I want im typing out of this reality

Omg she cut her hair! That was def the move

This was rlly cute! Def better than the second- it hit the spot for me, Peter kavinsky was kinda charming in this one like I am starting to get (a lot of boyfriend things he did reminded me of my boyfriend and I just wanted to attack him with affection but we long distance too so this rlly hit a close spot for me 🥲)

    Before anyone asks:

The reason why I gave it this rating was because Layla was annoying.
She simply complained the whole time and she wanted to radicalize, and when she did, when her voice was finally being heard (according to her), she grew sick of it and began nagging again as…
