  2.75. Christopher Guest continues to make the same movie over and over again, but the Netflix sheen doesn't flatter his already wryly dry approach. Fred Willard, however, still benefits things by playing the type of character he always does, though in this instance it's arguably a comic relief role because of how little else of the comedy sticks the landing.

  Even walking vomit pig Ricky Gervais' cameo wasn't enough to bring this down, not that For Your Consideration is Guest's best effort by any measure, but any film of his where Fred Willard is set loose to say the most inappropriate and embarrassing stuff is worth at least one viewing, and luckily there's a handful of those.
