Merry Christmas 2024
In the beginning of the film i was a little conflicted, wasn’t sure how Katrina’s acting would gel with the laid back, natural and somewhat sardonic style of Vijay Sethupathi but as the movie progresses, the chemistry between them becomes seemingly apparent and charming. The sets are beautiful and while some shots in the movie are quite awkward, can be brushed over as maverick choices. Without any time jumps or any complicated style of story telling, the audience is always kept engaged which is quite telling of how good the screenwriting is. Can’t end this without praising the attention to detail and background score.
