  absolutely stunning! I really adored the gothic aesthetic of this movie. the shots were very mesmerising and beautiful. I also really loved the colour grading. lily rose was great in her role, as was willem dafoe, and the rest. I was honestly disappointed by the suspense being so MILD, the movie being so dragged out fed into that by a lot! they could’ve added a bigger horror aspect to it, and I’m sad to say I expected more.
