Tokyo Story 1953
My first introduction to Yasujirõ Ozu. Thanks to Mubi ,you have opened a whole new world for me. Even though it’s an old movie, it might be the best old movie I’ve ever seen. Such a pioneer of the slice of life genre. So real, raw and emotional. I loved it how every time the characters stares you, it felt so welcoming, as if I was apart of the family. I need to watch more of the great Yasujirõ

I attended the International film festival in Rotterdam 2025. And even had the chance to meet the director and all the actors. Everyone was so nice, and I won't forget this experience in a long while. To Shenpenn Khymsar, if you ever read this, don't you ever stop making movies.
