  Got to see this via the Labyrinth in Concert Tour with a live band playing all the songs/score. It was magical!

  Jim Henson was unwavering in his authenticity. His imagination unbridled, he poured his heart and soul into every single one of his creations: from his cuter brightly-colored Muppets to the bulbous sphincters of the Bog of Eternal Stench.   I still quote this movie every other day to anyone that so much as looks my way. The little person inside of me that drives my sense of competition looks and acts like Patches O’Houlihan. When I play Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle Earth or maybe a men’s league basketball game and the odds are stacked against me, that image of Patches on the blindfold flashes into my head and he tells me that I “gotta get angry.”…

  Unapologetically devastating and beautifully crafted. Everything felt intentional, perfectly interweaving each of the character’s experiences, despite them hardly ever being together. Couldn’t keep my eyes off the screen even when they were filled with tears. 

  I wouldn’t let anyone take a picture of the back of my head because I have a dry scalp and I’m insecure about the skin flakes.
