  j’ai adoré l’esthétique et le grain du film, puis en regardant les crédit je me suis rendue compte qu’il a été réalisé par la nièce de sofia coppola ; tout s’explique. j’ai eu beaucoup d’empathie pour le perso principal aussi, notamment parce que le film mets en avant le traitement des femmes face à leur vieillesse et les family issues lol

  traumatizing. Ended the movie and didn’t know what to think. I guess since the old man was the narrator I felt too much empathy for him ? but the girl genuinely annoyed me. I do think that the book isn’t showing her the same way the movie was. I do think that they should have presented her more like a victim rather than how twisted it was presented. The movie was still great, the main character was very complex and I like how we were in his head kinda. And I do believe it’s still a classic.

  watched it in philosophy class, that is how much this movie is deep into the critic of our society. hénault loved it and left class mind fucked at how good the plot was. Truman was so cute and clueless I got so attached.
