  This film was nothing short of perfection. Beyoncé truly captured the beauty that is the black race. From start to finish, I was in awe of the looks, the cinematography and most importantly the message, “We were beauty before they knew what beauty was”. This film allows for an embracement of African culture, it doesn’t dramatise nor play into stereotypes. It’s a depiction of real truths, struggles and triumphs. It’s empowering, it allows the unrepresented to feel pride in our culture, our traditions. Black Is King, indeed.

  I was left speechless. This movie is beautiful, it’s timeless, it’s relevant and it’s unexpected. I could easily watch this over and over and I intend to. Parasite was so enticing because just where you think you know where it’s going, the narrative is turned on it’s head. The last sequence of the film truly touched me, it felt almost like watching a play. A truly beautiful experience came about from watching this film.
