  Mikey Madison is a Star

  Big fuckin Ups for actually casting people who speak Russian, and Armenian. As if there aren't working bilingual actors in like every language!! take note, casting directors, makes a fuckin difference

  I really feel like Baker successfully defamiliarized Brighton Beach, Coney Island, the Russian-speaking/post-Soviet Brooklyn diaspora. Not at all a movie about any of that shit g-d bless. Also so curious about that one Williams Candy Shop scene, did they build a replica set bc gosh i was like. That's my emotional support pistachio soft serve machine leave it be #moviemagic
