  It. Was. Incredible.

  I've not had the privilege of seeing the musical, but love both the book and the 1996 film, which I thought was going to be hard to beat, but this is certainly a strong contender.

  Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio 2022

  Watched as part of London Film Festival.

  I haven't seen any other adaptations of Pinocchio for a long time, so I can't provide any comparisons, however I thoroughly enjoyed Del Toro's version of this story.

  I loved the animation style and the cast of voice actors was sublime. And, without spoiling anything, I particularly enjoyed the culmination of the story.

Following
