Beyond the disappointment that comes from this being Bong Joon-ho’s follow up to the incredible Parasite, the film isn’t too bad. The tone of the movie is a bit strange, and the romance subplots feel super forced (and maybe a bit sexist in my opinion), but the setting is interesting, and the film has a pretty solid third act that makes up for some of its earlier transgressions.
