A brilliant movie that is very much relatable. This makes you think about the unspoken, invisible rules that we follow, not only in school but everywhere, soon we forget who we are, what we want, but we become one of the herd.
What the heck is being taught at school? Why students are not encouraged to think, be their own?
Fuck the convention, fuck society. You be you.

American History X 1998
American History X is a movie to be seen by all races, factions and groups. It's not another black uplifting movie - although nothing wrong with such movies, this one sees race and hate through a bigger lens.
This movie is realistically portrays how one succumbs to the hate idealogy without even them realising it, and the heavy price that comes with it.
"Hate is baggage" - I don't think I'll forget this line!!
(Spolier) I couldn't understand the hate the shooter had to kill Denny, it's a good movie except this minor flaw.
