  i forgot how good bong joon ho is w his shit like you can seeee the care in his work. also janelle got her self-insert film and it happens to be movie of the year yayayayay!!! beautifully absurd is a way id used to describe this movie, and im happy it had the time to do that. this also gets maddd points bc of the self-insert!! welcome back challengers!!!

  It was definitely a movie! I was not expecting anything that happened, I had no idea what the plot was about, so everything was shock factor. It makes me really curious about Pearl’s backstory, so i’m excited to watch that. A24 making the movie really makes everything click with this wacky plot. However, I would’ve liked to see this from another studio (not blumhouse either) but maybe an indie filmmaker. I forgot it was in 1979 for a bit, Jenna Ortega was weird casting tbh (love her though, she’s literally just baby and that accent was not sticking). Chile anyways, on to the next!

  oh that was definitely a movie! ummmm the cinematography was amazinggggg. i love me a good red lighting moment. my favorite color shots are the blue and orange shot near the beginning and the heather d. shot by the window. “SOCIETYYYYYYY”. “nobody loves me :((“
