    Listen, I don’t know anything about sixties cinema. The set design and the eye makeup were incredible. There were vibes. I don’t quite know what they were. The metaphor and allegory tried and spun in the mud.

    Respect the attempt to talk about women aging and beauty and work, JLC + PA were delightful to watch but not given the script and direction they deserved. Pamela’s unapologetic protagonist was wonderfully naive and frustrating.
    Overall, underbaked and did not quite stick the landing.
