"Goodbye to the Holy Mountain! Real life awaits us."
Absolutely phenomenal. The imagery and conceptual art in this is like Kubrick on steroids (and a lot of LSD).
I adore how this approaches the themes of desire and notoriety, especially through all the planet episodes. One of the most psychedelic takes on satire I've ever seen.
At some point I thought wow this is a science fiction movie, but then I realized that this categorization is completely stupid. This kinda transcends any movie genre.
Beautiful, psychotic, avant-garde. This deserves all the praise. 10/10

It's aight
Whatever this movie tries to say has already been said a million times before, and better. Woah human cloning is unethical. Woah rich people are psychopathic maniacs. Woah colonisation is wrong. It was surprisingly tame for a Bong Joon-Ho movie.
That being said the performances were pretty good, especially Robert Pattinson's and Toni Collette's. I honestly think she should've been the main villain, I wanted to see more of her.
Movie also has some great, Bong-style dark humor.…
