  I think there’s something extremely beautiful and relatable about growing up alongside another person who isn’t a sibling and being kids together, moving into adulthood and taking separate paths, and having to mourn the relationship that once was and missing being kids together on the same path (very much “we were girls together” vibes). I felt really connected to that storyline. However, with a theme like that I normally would have been sobbing and this movie just…… didnt do that
