One of Tim Burton's most Burtony films. I still think I prefer his animation side (just like Wes Anderson) but one of his best works overall. The practical effects and "cheesy" makeup and scenography is part of the charm.

Interesting structure and lead (I had a crush on Kelly Anne for the first half of the film, ngl) but the ending gets confusing. I had pictured a better ending in my head, literally.
Why does she takes a selfie in the murdered girl's room? And why doesn't she send the snatch video anonymously to the police and spares the mother of watching it? I can't figure out is she is an Anonymous hacker or a fucked up Lisbeth Salander.
The longest perfume ad you'll see this year. The artsy daughter if Michael Bay's slowmo and Guy Ritchie's travelings had children.
Jokes aside, the cinematography is truly breathtaking. Makes you miss not having lived in Napoli throughout the 70s. Specially knowing now that gentrification has forever changed what it appears in the movie as an untouched paradise.
I won't be missing the cigarettes though. Just watching the 2h of this will give you lung cancer.
The soundtrack did also stand out, as well as Paolo Sorrentino's obsession with beauty and old perverted men.
