18 years after the end of The Matrix Revolutions, Lana Wachowski of the Wachowskis decided to go back to the world of The Matrix, with The Matrix Resurrections.

The bombastic conclusion to the (at least, at the time) original Matrix Trilogy, this one is heavier on the action (not that the previous entries didn't have any, lol), the biggest two highlights of the movie are definitely Zion's last stand against the Machines, and Neo's DBZ style final fight scene against an unhinged Agent Smith, who's about to completely take over the Matrix, and will come after the Machines and humanity next, if he's not stopped by Neo.

But…

With the release of Minus One, and with barely any legit Big G movies I've watched under the belt, I've decided to finally watch the movie that started it all, and what an experience that was, the big G had a menacing presence as an indestructible being born from humanity's experience with atomic weaponry.

I love the part where Morpheus tells Neo that after he takes the red pill, and break away from the Matrix, that he must treat women like shit, smoke cigars every 5 seconds, run a sex trafficking ring, scam young gullible men into online courses that teach them nothing of true value, and promote and invest in cryptocurrency, so he can become a "Top G".

Okay, jokes aside, I haven't seen this movie in ages, so I decided to rewatch…
