the visual was ok, but i dont like the motion-movement, its pretty much messy.
the story has deep meaning indeed, its overall about the "flow"ness itself and.. destiny.
the 0 language that used in the film made me as an audience talk more from the heart for the film's story (and life), thats where the film's magic appeared
and dogs.. i hate stupid, nirempatic, cops, i mean dogs..

yo the acts, the dialogues, THE STORY, so bold and well structured. i love the randomness that puzzled itself through the end.
the mystery sceme is top notch, we presented with plenty of well structured details once again. master piece.

Mungkin ini yg ke 5x saya menonton film Gie, & setelah layar kelima, saya baru sadar kalau film ini bukan soal figur Soe Hok Gie semata, film ini merepresentasikan lanskap perjuangan kolektif & politik mahasiswa atau yg Gie sebut "intelegensia" —dalam upaya penumbangan rezim rakusnya Presiden Soekarno. Semua aspek dalam animasinya dibuat suram, lusuh, dan menyedihkan untuk mewakili kehadiran 'hidup' itu sendiri. Sedih, hampa, duka, sepi, getir, bebas, seneng, dan aspek-aspek lain dalam kehidupan dirangkum dalam cangkang siput ini (Snailshell, bukan Nutshell).
