Bullet Train 2022
Great cast, simple yet interesting plot, and excellent storytelling. All characters were also very compelling with great arcs. Only complaint would be a handful of slightly cringy lines from Brad Pitt’s character. Overall a fantastic film.

Planet of the Apes 1968
A movie of it’s time that still, much to my surprise, holds up today. The story and dialogue are still very engaging almost 60 years after release, which is very difficult to accomplish. As it was made almost 60 years ago are certain tropes that are very obviously present but if you’re able to put those aside a bit as a sign of the time, it is truly a good film. I can see why this was considered one of the best movies of its time and is now considered a classic.

This showed a very accurate depiction of a porn addict. The story was an edgy twist on a classic with a great message at the end to all fellas, young and old out there. It’s tough to show this much porn in a movie without calling it a smut film, and I don’t know exactly how they did it exactly, but they pulled it off. I think it’s because every time a video is shown, it’s depicted as gross instead…
