  Did I understand what was going on? No. Did I have a blast watching it? Also no. (If someone has a blast watching Evangelion, I’m worried about them.)

  BUT! This was a fitting culmination for a show that melted my brain. I loved the characters, the animation and music are both beautiful, and the show as a whole is one of the most daring, experimental shows I’ve ever watched. It’ll definitely take a few more watches to even approach the…
