can see why SXSW apparently ate this up (derogatory). not for me. movies about unicorns, their blood, and taking down the upper class shouldn’t be exceedingly dull for so often. felt like a scatterbrained attempt for a24 to broaden their audience to no effect. will poulter at least half-innocent as he managed to get a few chuckles out of me

as feared, it plays the hits and plays it safe. got a few funny moments amongst the whiffs. viola davis villain falls flat, while awkwafina in another animated film is reaching chris pratt levels of annoyance. subplot between shifu and li didn't go anywhere, either. and the lack of furious five feels more like jolie, liu, cross, etc. not wanting to do another KFP than a creative choice
