  Despite being a rip-off of George A. Romero's zombie movies, Lucio Fulci's Zombie is a masterpiece of the zombie genre. The ending has a very iconic feel to it, despite there being very little zombie action until the very end. However, the makeup looks fantastic and unique.

  The characters are okay, and the bloody violence is graphic and well done. I wouldn't really call anything in the movie boring, but a lot of the scenes seem to drag on. Although…

  The Return of the Living Dead is a perfect zombie horror movie that contributed to the popularity of the zombie horror subgenre. Over the top in all the right ways, this film is about as fun as a horror movie can get. It blows my mind that there are people who dislike this classic, one of the funniest and most influential zombie movies of all time that introduced tropes that changed the game.
