Pigs and Battleships 1961
What I'm most impressed with about this film is the way that the plot/climax of this film felt like it crawled out of the insane wallpaper.
Also, the scene where Haruko is assaulted by the three American men is stylistically buoyant which serves to make the cut scene away from something you know to be nightmarish SO effective: it's a fever dream where you wake up and you're (still) being swarmed by pigs.Translated from by -

I loved (almost) every distinct shot in this movie. It's greatest flaw was a failure of cohesion.
Words cannot describe the joy that I felt at so many of the scenes in this movie. The visuals were absolutely beautiful, and the juxtaposition of the fantastic and horror-movie-esque score over "normal" scenes was exquisite.
