Late Night with the Devil 2023
What I like about the horror genre is its ability to form around an interesting concept, even if the execution isn’t always on the mark. The acting range of David Dastmalchianis is truly incredible and by far the standout of the movie. The dread and uneasy is built up masterfully, but I feel as though the payoff and scares could have been better.

Shin Godzilla 2016
I’m not a huge fan of Godzilla films typically but this movie absolutely blew me away. This may be because my last viewing of a Godzilla film was King of Monsters in a 4DX theatre. This movie which largely takes place in conference rooms and offices was much more engaging than the CGI fest where my chair was moving and fake fog was rolling in.
