The story of Robbie Williams is amazingly captured in this film, filled with heart, joy, sadness, regret but also hope. The cinematography is incredible, and it has a killer soundtrack to go along with it. Every single musical number fires in all cylinders.

Fernanda Torres gives a life changing performance in this movie, seriously, is a no brainer to give her the Oscar. The way Brazil is shown is mesmerizing, the family dynamics and the horrors from the military abuse of that period are also perfectly captured. The only note I will give this film is the pacing, I felt the runtime a bit during the second act, it could have been a little shorter in order to get the story moving more fluidly.

They never sold me in the Wahlberg-Berry relationship, they both clearly are making a cashgrab here. However, I had fun with some of the action sequences, specially the chases towards the end of the film. For me, the real standout is Mike Colter, which I had never liked before, but here he does a particularly good job with his character (although he's a typical cliché of a villain).

Outstanding performance by Josh Harnett, he IS the engine of the movie. The story moves surprisingly fast and that makes it all the more exciting to watch. That said, the ending is a little dissapointing, but it is still a wild (and very disturbing) ride to be a part of.
