This is a deeply misguided movie. Early on, it foreshadows what’s in store for us. We see a handyman with power tools fixing shutters on apartment windows to facilitate sequestering cardinals, nuns in the kitchen cooking (only women but the equipment is state of the art), and more examples that announce the confluence of old and new.
So, would this also become a treatise on now the old morality has to give way to a new morality, that is incidentally…
