very heavy, definitely honed in on a HUGE fear of mine with pregnancy. super interesting concept, and a thesis that IVE BEEN SAYING. overall just super interesting, wasn’t bored at any point.

now im not going to lie to you guys i think this movie is close to perfect. AND MAYBE THATS CONTROVERSIAL. IDC. rachel sennott is very quickly earning a place in my heart. she does the awkward unfunny millennial thing so well. this was so relatable, and sad, and kind of hopeful but kind of dreadful. and this is how i constantly feel. and thats why this is rated so high. thats all.

this feels like the most obvious route for a cave movie. and i think at a certain point when theres so much interaction with your creature it turns into an action movie over a horror. i also didnt love the creature design, it felt very obvious, and like the first answer. of course a weird mutant creature who lives in a cave would look like that, but i wish it was more unique, or challenged…
