Creepy, romantic and well acted. I only just realised it is led by Brits acting with American accents. They did well. The film is quite depressing, but it has really sweet and erotic energy throughout. It’s beautifully filmed too, which adds an extra layer of chaos and thrill to the whole thing.
Tom Blyth was superb.
Probably my fav film of 2024. The scene where Lee and Eugene meet for the first time defines the film for me. Nirvana in the background, lust, excitement, confusion and discomfort wrapped in a slow and sensual slow mo gaze. Ugh. Obsessed.
The entire film was an uncomfortable reminder of what it’s like to be gay and alone. Obsession vs apathy. So relatable. Performed so well by Craig (one of his best).
The film could’ve been a little shorter. Maybe by 20-30mins. But I will watch it in full every-time because of how beautifully shot it is.
