Bend It Like Beckham 2002
This movie is a fucking classic. Never have I seen myself more represented in a film. I too was almost a world class athlete and a world class lesbian but my Indian parents stopped me from reaching my full potential. Everything that happens in this movie is predictable yet pleasantly surprising nonetheless. Also the music is FIRE.
I thought it was so funny how when Jess was having visions they lined up all those aunties on the soccer field. I LOVE THIS MOVIE
