I wanted the story of 2 lovebirds on the spectrum to be more heartwarming than this very real docufilm proved to be. Dina’s strong personality -and drive to survive- are worthy of respect. The film makers do a very good job of highlighting the real life struggles of love/intimacy and sexual maturity for those with social/intellectual and emotional delays and yet the couple’s candor on the subject felt familiar and will resonate on some level with most viewers. kid 90 2021
If you grew up in the late 80’s/early 90’s, there’s enough here to keep you interested, but it does cast a shadow over the nostalgia. Nomadland 2020
A thoughtful and somewhat gritty glimpse into the life of a factionalized nomadic character against a true-to-life nomadic community. Francis McDormand is as excellent as anyone would guess, saying more without words than with. Though the movie reveals clearly how that life can be isolating and difficult, the viewer can’t help but ask themself if it still might be the better way. The nomadic life has its charms.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari 1920
It’s difficult to give a proper review for a movie that is so old, without giving extra credit for achievement in taking on cinematographic limitations that existed 100 years ago. That being said, the storyline with its plot-twist ending, combined with the innovative-for-the-era, noir-meets-whoville-like set design make for a very enjoyable 67 minutes. A revolutionary film that holds up well, in all manner, even a century later. Everyone should say they’ve watched it at least once.....
PS- WAY BETTER than Citizen Kane 😉Translated from by
