And now I have two different opinions about Oppenheimer.
1. The film was good.
I mean what a mature filmmaking by Christopher Nolan. So many things like not showing the actual destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and not playing the flesh porn game, depicting the inside trauma and conflict of the protagonist, American dirty politics and decision to show Florence Pugh naked.…
The film was good. Caste politics, discrimination, police brutality, exploitation, folk culture and godesses but with a masala film type setting. Had fun watching this. Ended with all goody goody things, hero killing villain and all that regular stuff.
But it didn't connect me to the reality. What these directors are doing is feeding a main stream audience their food in their way with over the top action and romance and songs and what not... And then slightly giving an…
Seagulls, waves, a car, a man and a woman, some philosophical discussion. Some of the great films around the world has either of these things...

When a turtle lays his eggs on the shores he leaves to the sea, the newborns have to find their own way to the sea.
What a relatable situation to a dipressed guy who don't have the hopes to move forward in life. No one cares about him, he has to find his own ways....
And what a right time to watch this film.
