Belle de Jour 1967
sensuous in a way that i despise, and every scene is both dream-like and familiar, like experiencing déjà vu. i can relate to absolutely nothing in her life and somehow am still jealous of it for some reason. catherine deneuve is both absolutely stunning and incredibly convincing in her portrayal of a tortured housewife. she makes me wish i, too, had a doctor husband to sneak around on.
