  such a love letter to xmen and a great revival to a bad-ass series. i fucking love this movie 

  i will say though: strongly disliked the parallel of erik to shaw. erik’s belief system comes from his trauma and experiences as a holocaust survivor, and shaw is literally just a supremacist and a nazi.
