  Such a good will film, very poignant. Bill Nighy plays the character with such charisma. Wonderful to watch and a lesson to us all.

  The film went on a bit and had lots of extended scenes that in no way added to the story. Having said that though, it was a very relaxing film to watch and in between the action shots was like a meditation movie especially the underwater shots. The ending was incomplete and was unashamedly setting the scene for another movie to be made.

  An all star cast in a period drama that is narrated mostly through the eye of one of the lead characters. An interesting historic story that is something different and has a few twists and turns. Well told and thoroughly enjoyable.

  This was such a weird film, it slowly evolved as a plot about a chef who had reach his limit with reality and created a cult out of his staff with revenge set for the nights diners. Was enticing enough to watch once. Not too gory, but I’m not sure I’d watch it a second time.
