The Apprentice 2024
A decent movie about the making of a monster that seemed to have an under-cooked, maybe even an almost non-existent second act. The film's saving grace was its acting. Whether it was Sebastian Stan's gradual morphing into the Donald Trump that we know today, Jeremy Strong's devil-in-human-skin Roy Cohn, or Maria Bakalova's tender portrayal of Ivana Trump, the acting did a lot towards keeping the viewer distracted from the blank spaces of the plot and character progression.
