It’s iight but the comedy is lacking. I get it’s low budget and shot around covid but i felt like a lot of the jokes and dialogue became repetitive (I don’t need to be told three times actor from Fresh Off the Boat is in this) and the usage of the flashbacks to them as kids felt disjointed
Some Really good emotional moments though.
Also Really appreciated that it was only an hour. They told the necessary story and didn’t drag it out.
This movie is so significant because it displays the Panthers Party’s accomplishments and their humanity. It shows all of theirs struggles which is a significant feat for a film given the runtime. It shows the struggles of community and how insidious government institutions are when it comes to their agenda to take down Black people especially when they are a threat to the status quo.
