Gobsmacked by how good this was. The marketing was really bad cause I learnt this was out and had no clue what it was about and why should I go see it. I now think that everyone should see it cause it’s a real crowd pleaser.

My highlights were the humor, the characterization and the animation style. I love that they didn’t need to explain us everything and we still understood how the world worked. I’m not the biggest Transformers…

Wow. It’s perfect. Every shot is meticulously crafted, every line is delivered with the perfect tone; everything is hilarious but at the same time carrying a strong message. A gorgeous feminist satire and my favorite work from Monia Chokri.

What can I say, I like to have fun. It’s really not that good, but that cast was everything.

A masterclass in acting and storytelling, Training Day is a must. It reminds you how bad this whole western capitalist bullshit society is rotten from the core.

I rarely go on YouTube after watching a movie to get some explanations, but I was so mesmerized by this one that I absolutely had to. This was my first David Lynch film and I was hooked in the first 10 minutes. I absolutely need to rewatch this at some point cause this was amazing; and I mean all of it was amazing.

A goddamn masterclass in filmmaking. I’m not gonna list everything that I think redefined the genre cause we’ll still be here tomorrow. I don’t think I’m the biggest Dune fan but this movie just floored me. The number of shots that are stuck in my head are countless. I think this is one of the most impeccable visuals I’ve ever seen in a movie (if not the best). So proud to be from Quebec when we have talents like Denis…
