This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Generally skeptic of marvel films/its cinematic universe the past decade, partially due to their comedic sitcom mimicry, which comes off as cringe. But this was astonishingly fun - no it's not a cinematic masterpiece, and Scorsese's diatribe on how marvel films are theme park-formulaic is very true here, but if you grew up watching Tobey and Andrew's spider-men it's irresistible to see them along with their villains return, and in a way that is both coherent and impressively not corny…

Don't Look Up 2021
Fairly enjoyable, but a million miles away from being the classic it aspires to be. Zeitgeisty which is surprising considering it's more an allegory on climate change as it was produced pre/mid-covid. Felt the artillery of nonstop star-power/A-list cameos was a little distracting.
