There seems to be some formula where if you mix a dreamlike/nightmarish atmosphere, a semi-inscrutable plot, and attractive women playing a male sexual fantasy, especially if there is some uncertainty about the melding of the identities of these attractive women,the movie will be considered a masterpiece. The first two hours are very fun and very cringe; the last hour is less fun and somehow even more cringe. Obviously it is not a "good" movie, but Al Pacino is extremely attractive, what can I say. I wish Tony Montana would have had the chance to get it on with his sister.
